TEHRAN – Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, will perform the funeral prayer over the bodies of the late President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, and their accompanying local officials who lost their lives in the tragic helicopter crash on Saturday.

The funeral prayer will commence at 07:30 AM on the Tehran University main campus on Wednesday.

The bodies of the victims of the presidential helicopter crash were transferred to Tehran on Monday morning amid mourning rituals across the grieving nation.

Ayatollah Al-e Hashem, the Leader’s representative to East Azerbaijan Province, and Malek Rahmati, the province’s governor, along with the security detail of the president and the cabin crew lost their lives as a result of the helicopter crash.
